part of the wall opposite the entrance to the Sala del Tesoro, towards the cortile, the scene above the sea-gods is one of four scenes depicting Hadrian looking for a place for his tomb, the grotteschi in the semi-arch show a nymph chasing a satyr away, in the stucco beneath
