Further details
A man sacrificing a lamb and a man sacrificing corn illustrate here the Offertory prayers over the host and the chalice respectively. This may refer to the sacrifices of Cain and Abel, but God seems to accept both sacrifices - hence they could simply stay for sacrifices of the Old Testament
