Blanchin, Jean (active Paris, first half 17th century) Close copy after an engraving by Matthäus Merian (used in the edition Frankfurt 1619), which is based on the engravings by Gaultier (used in the edition Paris 1606), which in turn copies the illustrations by Giacomo Franco for the Venice 1584 edition
