This image is sometimes identified with Callisto, i.e. Ursa Maior. However, there was a literary tradition identifying Ursa Maior as chariot driven by Helice, and Ursa Minor as chariot driven by Cynosura. Quinlan-McGrath, p. 98, favours the identification with Ursa Minor for astronomical reasons
