The slaying of Marsyas: The reclined youth grasping the right knee of Marsyas is perhaps a local Phrygian god (Carl Robert), possibly the river Marsyas. To the right of Marsyas, a Scythian with a knelt blade-sharpener assisting him. The figure on the right end is a river god or River Marsyas
