The significance of the image is not fully clear. At the left is Eliezer praising God, as at the first encounter with Rebecca (Gen. 24:26). A boy in the centre holds a cloak, and this and the marginal inscription refer to Rebecca covering herself at the sight of Isaac (Gen. 24:65)
