Detail of Chapel 2. The chapel originally housed another Virgin and Child, also by Ferrari, c.1514. In 1572 these were removed and the Annunciation narrative was installed, reusing other sculptures by Ferrari. Frescos are by an unknown artist of the Gaudenzian school c.1500.
