The silver frame dates probably, like that of St Augustine, from the late 18th century. Since the Salesian nuns only moved to Dietramszell in 1831 the Francis de Sales could have been brought and inserted by them (perhaps indirectly from Italy, given the spelling) or adopted from another saint.
