Emperor Maximilian as benefactor of Heilig Kreuz Abbey, his donations are presented by personification: the relic of the Crown of Thorns perhaps by Religio, the large monastrance by a woman with a book and a censer, and the small frame by a woman with a heart on her chest, perhaps Divine Love
