According to Tertullian's phrase 'Sanguis Martyrum Semen Christianorum', this image combines the typical Labours for March (Ploughing, Sowing etc.) with images of Martyrs. At the right objects probably linked to March, at the left attributes of some saints of this month (identification tentative).
