It is not clear, which scene is depicted - if it were Clovis praying to Clotilda's God, one would expect him to be more prominent; but it is explicitly stated that Clotilda prayed at the tomb of St Martin to stop a battle between her sons, and the ensuing thunderstorm is not shown either.
