Both Nazarius and the boy Celsus were thrown into the sea and rescued through a miracle, some time later they were both beheaded. Here, only Celsus is shown being thrown into the sea (from the land, not from a boat as necessary for the narrative of the Legenda Aurea), only Nazarius is beheaded.
